The fine print, banana-sized
Shipping, returns & policies
Everything in the shop — and every custom sticker, mug or tee from the builder — is printed on demand just for you by our print partner (Printful) and shipped worldwide. No warehouse, no waste, no surprises. Here's exactly how it works.
Shipping
- Production first: your item is made after you order — typically 2–5 business days before it ships.
- Delivery: usually 5–20 business days after production, depending on where you live. Tracking is emailed when it ships.
- Custom bananas (from the builder): shipping calculated at checkout.
- Shop products (the tee and the mug): shipping calculated at checkout.
- Prices include tax where applicable; any import duties outside those regions are the carrier's/customs' call, not ours.
Returns & refunds
- Wrong, damaged or misprinted? That's on us. Contact me within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo — you'll get a free replacement or a full refund.
- Lost in transit? If it never shows up, reach out within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we'll sort it — replacement or refund.
- Changed your mind? Because every item is made to order (and custom bananas are personal to you), made-on-demand products are exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal right for distance sales (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16c — goods made to your specification). But I'm one person, not a corporation: if something feels wrong, write to me and we'll figure it out.
- Sizing: check the size guide on each product page before ordering — size-swap returns aren't possible on made-to-order garments.
- Custom designs: I personally review every custom order before it prints. If a design can't be printed (rights or content issues), you get a full refund and nothing is made.
Privacy
- No accounts, no tracking walls. trymstene.com works without signing up for anything.
- Orders: checkout runs on Shopify — they process your payment and address (see the full privacy policy at checkout). Your name and shipping address are shared with Printful only to print and ship your order.
- Analytics: anonymous usage stats (Google Analytics + Cloudflare) to see which bananas people like. No ad targeting, no selling data — there's nothing to sell.
- On your device: your banana designs and pass live in your browser's local storage, not on a server.
- Questions or deletion requests: contact me.
Terms & the banana
- The Dancing Banana is © Trym Stene, 1999–today. Personal use of the GIF is free and always will be; commercial use needs a license.
- Custom designs you make in the builder are for your personal products — you can't resell products with the banana on them without a license.
- Custom orders with hateful or unlawful text will be refused and refunded — the banana is for everyone.
